RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE : To avoid rubbing at the neck and other areas, apply Vaseline or a mixture of 50Percent Vaseline and 50Percent Lanolin.
AQUATHERMIC TECHNOLOGY : AQUATHERMIC components integrate thermal features to reduce thermal shock when entering the water, and also reduces the duration and intensity of the wind chill effect when getting out of the water. It also improves body thermal insulation from the outdoors to enable you to swim longer in cold conditions.
THERMAL SHOCK : The physical and elastic properties of AQUATHERMIC materials help to provide swimmers with a second skin. This second skin slows down water penetration and therefore thermal shock when getting into the water.
THERMAL INSULATION : Moreover, AQUATHERMIC components retain a thin layer of water between the skin and the fabric that will naturally warm up with body heat.
REDUCING THE WINDCHILL EFFECT : Lastly, our AQUATHERMIC components absorb very little water from the outer garment's surface, providing a windproof effect. The dual action of windproofing and quick drying reduces the amount of time and the intensity of evaporation of the water retained on the garment's surface, which otherwise makes you shiver when you get out of the pool.
WINDCHILL EFFECT : Rapid and prolonged drop in body temperature caused by the evaporation of excess water retained on the surface of a wet garment. The colder and stronger the wind, the more intense the evaporation and therefore the greater the feeling of cold. The greater the quantity of water absorbed by the fabric's outer surface layer, the longer the evaporation and therefore the longer the feeling of cold will last.
